Ingredients


Makes: 14 cups (3.5 L)
  • Homemade Pancake Mix
  • 10 C (2 1/2 L) all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 C (625 ml) instant non-fat dry milk
  • 1 C (250 ml) sugar
  • 1/2 C (155 ml) baking powder, + 2 Tbsp
  • 2 Tbsp (30 ml) Sea Salt (Grinder)
  • Prepared Homemade Pancakes:
  • 1 C (250 ml) water
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla extract
  • 3 Tbsp (45 ml) vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 C (375 ml) Epicure's Homemade Pancake Mix

Preparation


 
  • In a mixing bowl, using Piano Wire Whisk, whisk all ingredients together. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dark place up to 6 months.
  • To make pancakes:
  • In a mixing bowl, using Piano Wire Whisk,whisk water, egg, vanilla extract, and oil. Add extra water for thinner pancakes.
  • Stir in Homemade Pancake Mix to combine. Batter will be lumpy. Let stand 5 minutes and stir once just before cooking.
  • In a lightly oiled Fry Pan, or on a hot griddle, cook 1/2 cup (125 ml) batches over medium heat. Flip
